Ben Suga's perfectly sized Latte Mugs are available in various colors and textures. The roundness of the bowl and handle is comforting.
We call this series Lorien. Each bowl is handmade and unique, and has a gradation of different misty colors. The name of the color is just for identification purposes. The thick graze forming drops at the bottom is unique.
Having roots in Japan and apprenticed to renowned ceramic masters in Karatsu, Japan, and Minnesota, Ben Suga focuses on creating high-quality ceremonial teaware, tableware, and sculpture in his studio in the Catskill Mountains.
These stoneware bowls are fired at high temperatures, making them durable.
